Buonasera amici! This week’s special is one that we haven’t strictly featured before, although it combines a few ingredients that we do use from time to time…it’s one for the vegetarians being caramelised onion, gorgonzola dolce (blue cheese), fresh pear and rocket on an olive oil base and of course provolone! If vegetarianism isn’t your thing then you’ll need to request some prosciutto for this one to make you happy.

Jules’ homemade tiramisu will also be available along with our other sweet treats including tartufo, baci and gelato in chocolate, lemon and blood orange.

Special March 15-18

With the continuation of this warm weather we’re inspired this week, to feature one of our favourite ‘pizza bianco’ specials. So, on an extra virgin olive oil base, there’ll be some provolone, figs (that have been marinated in moscato), walnuts, prosciutto and then some fresh rocket to finish. It’s light, delicious and will compliment a glass of pinot grigio on these summer autumn nights… Vegetarians can swap the prosciutto for some feta which is salty enough to balance the sweetness of the figs.

To finish we have Jules’ delicious homemade tiramisu or if you fancy a nutella and fresh strawberry pizza, this too will a satisfying aftertaste…

Special March 8-11

Well thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome back…it was mostly funny (a bit painful) hearing how different people coped without our pizza for a few weeks. At any rate, we’re back and everything has returned to normal…

This week’s pizza special is one of our faves – napoli, provolone, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, eggplant and feta. Although it’s vegetarian, it’s also delicious with salami (hot or mild) for those who cannot fathom a pizza without protein.

We have homemade tiramisu and all our gelato has been replenished this week along with our tartufo and baci supplies.

Yes, we’re back in action from Wednesday night and to get you all excited about our return we’re featuring one of our fave specials…napoli, provolone, white anchovies, capers, basil, kalamata olives and for the brave, a little bit of chilli…it’s a bit spicy but not too much…

Jules has made a fresh batch of homemade tiramisu which is light, decadent and the perfect way to finish a delightful dinner at Bella. Otherwise we always have gelato, baci and/or tartufo to keep your cravings satiated.

Special Jan 25-28

This week’s special is the much sought after ‘beetroot pizza’…extra virgin olive oil base, provolone, baby beets, feta, walnuts and fresh rocket. Perfect for the vegetarians in our midst although if you crave protein then chicken is the best option here.
As it’s our last week before our annual holiday, this week will be your last opportunity to indulge in some of Jules’ homemade tiramisu for a few weeks…enjoy it with an espresso or a hot chocolate!
Our trading hours this week will be a departure from our usual…we will be closed on Thursday for the Australia Day public holiday so we’ll be open on Wednesday and Friday from 5pm and Saturday from 3pm.
After our Saturday service we’ll be taking a few weeks of rest and relaxation to recharge our batteries and will return refreshed for our beautiful autumn season! Hope we’ll see you!IMG_2349

This week’s special is one of our summer classics – olive oil with provolone, pear, walnuts, prosciutto and fresh rocket. It’s simple and it’s delicious!
Homemade tiramisu is also available which is a delicious way to finish dinner, especially so with an espresso.

This week’s special is one of those yummy pizza combinations that not only tastes delicious but looks impressive as well… napoli, provolone, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta. The non-vegetarians amongst us can enjoy this one with some salami…hot is the way to go if you can handle a bit of spice!

If you’re looking for a dessert that will keep you cool we’ve got delicious gelati in chocolate, lemon and blood orange or otherwise Jules has also made a fresh batch of homemade tiramisu…divine!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2017! We hope you’re all hungry and ready to enjoy another year of delicious woodfired pizza eating… to get things off to a start our special this week is garlic, provolone, ricotta and green olives with your choice of either hot or mild salami. It’s one of those delicate flavour combinations that is light yet satisfyingly delicious!

Jules has been busy making a fresh batch of tiramisu which is the perfect after dinner treat and can be eaten in or taken away…bellissima!

Special Dec 21-24

We’re getting into the Christmas spirit with this week’s red, white and green special…our traditional quattro formaggi pizza…napoli, provolone, feta, mozzarella, gorgonzola and basil! If you need a protein on this one then we’d suggest prosciutto…seriously indulgent and so deelicious!

Also available is a fresh batch of tiramisu which is the perfect way to cool down as we commence the forthcoming Christmas feasting!

We’re open right up until Saturday night (Christmas Eve) so with everything else going on, please know we’ll be ready and waiting to make your dinner! For those thinking to drop by and eat in, bookings are of course always welcomed!

Special Dec 14-17

As we approach our penultimate week of 2016 we’ve been reflecting on our most popular specials of the year and decided that the best way to keep the pizza-eating population of Castlemaine and beyond satisfied, is to feature the most requested weekly special.

Fortunately it’s a traditional Italian flavour combination and also happens to be one of our faves…extra virgin olive oil, provolone, pear, walnut, prosciutto and fresh rocket! It’s super delicious with a glass of pinot grigio or rose as well!
