This week’s special is yum yum yum! We brush the base with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle provolone, marinated figs and walnuts, pop it in the oven and then layer ribbons of prosciutto and finish with fresh rocket…it’s seriously delicious!

On the dessert front we have our homemade tiramisu – made with espresso and amaretto and the perfect way to finish dinner.

Happy new financial year! As winter makes its presence felt, we continue to feature specials that suit – this week it’s the puttanesca; tomato base, provolone, white anchovies, baby capers, olives, basil and fresh tomato – this one’s also nice with chilli and/or hot salami…

In this wild wintry weather what better special to feature than our yummy, ever-popular potato pizza – tomato base, provolone, red onion, wood-roasted potatoes and rosemary…delicious!

Special June 18-21

Our special this week is one that we’ve not featured before, but we feel confident it’ll impress. On a garlic base, we’re going to have baby spinach, lamb, mint and rosemary (salsicce) sausage, cherry tomatoes, fresh mint and feta…inspired by the Greeks and improved by the Italians…

Our dessert this week is our yummy decadent chocolate cake which we’ll be serving European style with vanilla ice-cream and fresh strawberries!

For those of you following the World Cup, it was great to see the Aussies fighting and watch Balotelli see the Italians through in header style. Bring on the next round…forza azzurri!

Special June 11-14

The chill continues outside but at Bella Fresca Pizzeria it’s toasty and warm in front of the wood fired oven…and why wouldn’t you come in and sample this week’s special? Wood-roasted pumpkin, pine-nuts, Italian gorgonzola and fresh rocket on an olive oil base…combine it with a glass of vino and what more could you ask for?

Dessert, that’s what.

So, our homemade tiramisu is back this week – it’s traditional, that is made with espresso, amaretto and just a dash of love! Hmmm. We also have our tartufo, baci and gelato (chocolate, lemon, raspberry) or if that doesn’t entice you there’s always our chocolate calzone!

This week the World Cup kicks off (pun intended), both Australia (Saturday 8am SBS) and Italy (Sunday 8am SBS) play this weekend so expect to see some red eyes around the place…Go Socceroos and Forza Azzurri…we’re backing you both!

Special June 4-7

Welcome winter!

Brrr, the chill has definitely been more noticeable this week…and so our special is on theme; it’s a garlic base, provolone, broccoli, French brie and hot or mild salami. We marinate the broccoli in a delicious mix of garlic, lemon juice and pepper for an added touch of flavour! For the vegetarians amongst us, brie is quite a strong flavour and so this special is just as delicious without the salami, or as always we’re happy to accommodate any special variations you might have!

For the sweeties, our dessert special this week is the ever-popular decadent chocolate cake served with vanilla ice-cream and fresh strawberries. It’s oh so indulgent! And as the cold sets in the quince supply will begin to dry up so there’ll only be a few more opportunities to try our ‘limited edition’ quince and white chocolate dessert pizza…seriously divine!

To see out Autumn, our special this week is one that we’ve featured a few times before; it’s a tomato base, provolone, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta. Those seeking some protein are likely to enjoy this one with salami…bellissimo!

This week in the Giro d’italia, Cadel is not wearing the ‘maglia rosa’ but is still in contention especially as the mountain stages will likely separate the boys from the men! Still we cheer for Cadel who sits in second place and is within reach of the ultimate prize…

This week’s special is inspired by the Italian flag and palette…our yummy pesto base is combined with free range chicken, cherry tomatoes and feta…delicious! It’s light, yet hearty and bound to delight.

For sweets we have our yummy decadent chocolate cake that’s served with strawberries and vanilla ice cream or if dessert pizza is more your thing then you still have some time to indulge in our quince and white chocolate offer.

The special this week is a vegetarian delight – garlic base, provolone, mushrooms, fresh rocket and goats cheese..hmmm delicious!

If you’re a protein lover and can’t have a pizza without it (and there’s a few of you out there!) then we’d recommend prosciutto with this one.

Our homemade tiramisu returns to the menu this week, it’s the chocolate-mint variety which leaves a lingering and refreshing after taste, that is arguably one of the best ways to finish dinner.

The quince dessert pizza continues to impress and our local supply remains plentiful so if you haven’t yet had the chance, know that it’s not too late to try this autumnal dessert treat.

Our special this week draws on a classic Italian flavour combination; an extra virgin olive oil base, provolone, fresh apple, homemade pork and fennel salsicce (sausage) and rocket to finish…it’s delicious!

The quince dessert pizza that we’re offering for a limited time was incredibly popular last week and so it’s continuing its stay on the menu, whilst we have an abundant supply of local quinces at hand. Get in quick!
