Buonasera pizza lovers! This week’s special is the meatball pizza…on a napoli base with provolone, red onion, homemade meatballs (secret recipe😜) and green peas. It’s delish!

As autumn is well and truly with us, our lovely friend Robyn has dropped off a batch of her homegrown quinces which we’ve poached and will be putting on a dessert pizza with sweet ricotta, white chocolate and mascarpone! The tartness of the quinces with the sweetness of the chocolate and ricotta is truly heavenly!

There’s also a fresh batch of homemade tiramisu and all our other usual desserts – baci, tartufo, calzone, dessert pizzas etc. All scrumptious!

As always, we’ll be open Wednesday to Friday from 5pm and Saturday from 3pm and we hope that we’ll see you!

Special 1-4 May

Buonasera pizza lovers! To herald this return to the cooler weather (and rain!!!) we’re featuring one of our favourite hearty specials…napoli, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, marinated green olives and feta! It’s vegetarian and super delicious but if you’re not comfortable without the extra protein then we suggest salami with this one! A dash of chilli takes it to a whole new level!

We’ll have a dish of homemade tiramisu on standby as well as all of our other desserts – baci, tartufo, gelato, nutella dessert pizzas and calzone!

Special 24-27 April; Closed Anzac Day!

Buonasera pizza lovers! This week’s special is one of our faves (yours too apparently!) that’s getting its second run this season already! Wood-roasted pumpkin, pine nuts, feta and fresh rocket on an extra virgin olive oil base. Carnivores can add prosciutto or chicken for a bit of salt to balance the sweetness.

Due to the Anzac Day public holiday we’ll only be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday this week and we hope that we’ll see you!

Special 3-6 April

Buonasera pizza lovers! This week’s special is for the vegetarian folk in our midst…provolone, baby beets, walnuts, feta and rocket on an extra virgin olive oil base! Carnivores can add chicken or prosciutto which being salty work well with the sweetness of the beets.
Homemade tiramisu continues to fly out the door and so we’ve got another batch settling in the fridge. It’s just perfect with a coffee or shot of amaretto after a pizza!

Buonasera pizza lovers! πŸ‘‹ As we welcome the season change this week, we’ve got a delicious special to share with you all. Provolone, marinated zucchini, fresh ricotta and salami (hot or mild) on a garlic base. Vegetarians can swap out the salami for mushrooms and this is still a super delicious pizza! πŸ”₯πŸ•πŸ˜‹

For the sweeties amongst us we’ve got homemade tiramisu, baci, tartufo, decadent dessert pizzas and gelato in chocolate, lemon and pistacchio flavours! Delish!

Buonasera pizza lovers! To celebrate this gorgeous autumn weather we’re featuring one of our fave specials this week. Caramelised onion, provolone, fresh pear, feta and rocket! Seriously delicious! Those who need meat should add a ribbon or two of prosciutto, otherwise it’s also terrific as a vegetarian pizza!

On the dessert front we’ve got homemade tiramisu, dessert pizzas, baci, tartufo, gelato all of which go down perfectly with an espresso or hot chocolate!

After a few weeks of r&r we’re back on deck, ready to once again get back to making Castlemaine’s most delicious woodfired pizza!

Special 23-25 January!

Buonasera pizza lovers and welcome to ANOTHER very hot week! πŸ˜… This week’s pizza special is another deliciously simple one, and the one we always do on the cusp of our annual break – the four cheeses! Napoli, provolone, mozzarella, feta and gorgonzola dolce with basil! Delicious! Great with prosciutto, salami, chilli, olives…whatever your hearts desire!
As we always do when the real heat kicks in, we’ll be taking our annual break from this weekend! As such we will have ALTERED TRADING HOURS and will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only! So if it’s pizza you’re after, you better drop by this week, otherwise you’ll have to wait a few!

Special 16-19 January

Ciao pizza lovers! We’re featuring one of our personal faves on the special board this week – we haven’t offered this before but because it’s so damn hot we’re in the mood for something lighter!

On a napoli base there’ll be some provolone, fresh tomato, Italian fior di latte and a few leaves of fresh basil! Fior di latte is fancy term for super-sized bocconcini. It’s an ultra simple pizza – if you prefer something more loaded you can pretty much go anywhere with this one…vegetarians can add kalamata olives or a few mushrooms … those looking for protein can add a ribbon of prosciutto or salami or chicken or anchovies… you can pretty much add anything you have a hankering for!

We’ll have plenty of gelato, baci and tartufo on standby to help keep you cool and of course there’s always tiramisu – the perfect pick me up for you to pick up!
