To see out Autumn, our special this week is one that we’ve featured a few times before; it’s a tomato base, provolone, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta. Those seeking some protein are likely to enjoy this one with salami…bellissimo!

Tiramisu returns to the menu this week – it’s the traditional version made with espresso, amaretto and of course the mandatory dash of love!

This week in the Giro d’italia, Cadel is not wearing the ‘maglia rosa’ but is still in contention especially as the mountain stages will likely separate the boys from the men! Still we cheer for Cadel who sits in second place and is within reach of the ultimate prize…

Special May 7-10

Our special this week draws on a classic Italian flavour combination; an extra virgin olive oil base, provolone, fresh apple, homemade pork and fennel salsicce (sausage) and rocket to finish…it’s delicious!

The quince dessert pizza that we’re offering for a limited time was incredibly popular last week and so it’s continuing its stay on the menu, whilst we have an abundant supply of local quinces at hand. Get in quick!

Otherwise, we’ve also got our homemade chocolate mud cake which is turning out to be quite a hit – served with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries – it’s decadent and the perfect way to finish dinner!

Special April 9-12

Daylight saving has departed for another season and with the BOM predicting rain for the better part of the week there’s a decidedly winter feel about… even though it’s not yet that cold…

So to herald the change in season, we’re going with our homemade meatball pizza this week – it’s a tomato base, provolone, red onion, homemade meatballs and green peas. It’s a classic ‘comfort food’ combination.

For the sweet-tooths there’s a delicious chocolate mud cake on offer – it’s different to the one we featured a couple of weeks ago – more decadent, served with vanilla ice-cream and strawberries and absolutely delicious!

Special March 26-29

To see out the first month of autumn we’re going with the popular combination of tomato base, provolone, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta…for the protein lovers amongst us this is also a goodie with hot or mild salami…and it goes down especially well with a glass of nero d’avola – the newest wine on our list!

For sweets we’ve got a decadent chocolate mud cake – a rich dark chocolate with lashings of ganache…the sort of dessert that will leave a delicious lingering flavour…mmmm. If this doesn’t take your fancy you cold always order a chocolate calzone with fresh strawberries or have a serving of gelato…

Special Dec 4-7

This week’s special is traditionally known as the ‘puttanesca’ or as one of our regular customers phrased it recently ‘the busy lady’. 

It’s a tomato base, with provolone, kalamata olives, capers, white anchovies, oregano and fresh mini roma tomatoes….hmmm. For those who like a bit of heat, it goes well with chilli (or Blair’s Death Sauce) or even some hot calabrese salami. Even better with vino rosso!

Tiramisu this week is the chocolate and strawberry version – a great way to see summer in!

Special Oct 16-19

This week’s special is an extra virgin olive oil base, marinated figs, walnuts, prosciutto and fresh rocket…delish…especially with a glass of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio! We’ve marinated the figs in orange juice, cloves and de bortoli Noble One so they leave a yummy after taste.

Tiramisu-ers will love the return of ‘traditionale’ – that is with espresso, amaretto and dash of love!

Otherwise there’s always bacio, gelato (chocolate, lemon and/or orange) or a dessert pizza…nutella and banana or berries and white chocolate. Yum!

Special Sept 11-14

This week’s special features a lightly oiled extra virgin olive oil base, mozzarella, pear, prosciutto, walnuts and is finished with fresh rocket and an optional sprinkle of parmesan – delicious!

And for the coeliacs amongst us, remember we can do this in a 9″ gluten free version.

This or our other pizzas are all fantastic with our selection of fresh salads; mista, greek, rucola or the caprese!

Tiramisu lovers will appreciate the return to the classic version made with espresso, amaretto and love!

We also have our other desserts: bacio, tartufo and gelato in chocolate, lemon and strawberry – all perfect with a coffee or hot chocolate.

This week’s special features a garlic base, mozzarella, grilled zucchini, ricotta and calabrese salami (hot or mild!) – and as a customer once said about this one, ‘it looks humble but it’s packed full of flavour’!

As we sold out of our homemade strawberry/chocolate tiramisu last week and strawberries are delicious at the moment, Jules has made a fresh batch. So if you missed out last week, don’t fret, you can drop by this week and satisfy the craving.

We’ve also got refreshing bacio, tartufo and gelato in chocolate, lemon and strawberry.

Special Aug 28-31

This week’s special is a vegetarian classic – tomato base, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta. Those who hanker for protein could have calabrese salami or even some wood-roasted lamb added.

On either our regular pizza bases or gluten friendly bases, it’s delicious!

Tiramisu this week is choc-strawberry – one that we haven’t done for a while but with a yummy fresh supply of strawberries we couldn’t resist temptation.

This warmer spring weather has also brought about a new batch of bacio (vanilla & hazelnut ice-cream in hard coated chocolate) and tartufo (chocolate gelato truffle with cherry) or there’s always refreshing gelato in chocolate, lemon or strawberry!
