This week we’ve put together a new middle-eastern inspired vegetarian pizza special – baby spinach, provolone, felafel, cherry tomatoes and hummus – we think it’s pretty yum and hope you do too!

The ever-popular tiramisu is back, made with espresso, amaretto and amore! Otherwise we have gelato in chocolate, lemon and blood red-orange…deeelicious!

This week’s special has come about because several people have asked for it recently…napoli, provolone, red onion, wood roasted potatoes and rosemary…simple and deeelicious!

Tiramisu this week is the classic variety, made with espresso, amaretto and amore!

Special Sept 23-26

This little cold snap which has arrived in the past day or so has inspired this week’s special…garlic, provolone, green olives, fresh ricotta and salami – you can choose either hot or mild – if you can handle the hot then we recommend!

Homemade tiramisu is back this week…made with espresso, amaretto and amore it’s a sure winner!

Special Sept 9-12

A pear, slice of prosciutto and a group of walnuts walk into a bar…
Ok, that’s clearly not going to work!

But this week’s special definitely works…on an olive oil base, provolone, pear and walnuts are topped before the pizza is cooked and then finished with prosciutto and fresh rocket.

And for those tiramisu lovers amongst us Jules has experimented with a new #nutella tiramisu..yep that’s right! If it’s the traditional version that you’re after then don’t fret because there’s a tray of that too! Yum!

Q: What happened after an explosion at a French cheese factory?
A: All that was left was de brie.

Ha ha ha ha…okay maybe not…if the humour is bad at least console yourself in the knowledge that Spring is officially here!

But if you do love French brie then a visit via Bella Fresca Pizzeria this week is a must as the special is the ‘quattro formaggi’ or ‘four cheeses’…yum yum yum! On a napoli base, we apply mozzarella, provolone, feta and French brie and then finish it with some fresh basil!

And on the tiramisu front Jules has made a batch of the traditional version with espresso, amaretto and amore! Bellissima!

Q: Did you hear about the guy who stopped eating vegetables?
A: His heart missed a beet.

But if you visit @bellafrescapizzeria this week, you won’t miss a beet because our special features, provolone, baby beetroot, walnuts, fresh rocket and goats cheese! Seriously what a delicious combination…

And with tiramisu in such demand Jules has gone ahead and made two batches – one traditional (espresso, amaretto) and the other chocolate-mint – the biggest challenge is deciding which one to finish with.

Special August 12-15

Due to popular demand and given that we’re in the final weeks of winter we’re featuring our potato pizza special this week…on a napoli base, we apply provolone, red onion, wood roasted chat potatoes and a few sprigs of rosemary…so simple and yet so delicious!

If you’re partial to a dessert or sweet treat to finish then the tiramisu returns this week made with espresso, amaretto and just a dash of amore!

Special August 5-8

Prosciutto, walnuts, marinated figs and fresh rocket! Yep, that’s right folks – that’s this week’s yummy yummy pizza special!

We get a pizza dough ball that’s been proving for an extended time, hand-stretch it so that it retains air and lightness, then spread some extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle provolone, walnuts and figs bathed in sweet alcohol before cooking in the oven and then finishing with delicious ribbons of prosciutto and fresh rocket.

Tiramisu returns this week deliciously made with amaretto, espresso and just a dash of amore!

Special July 29-Aug 1

As we approach the final month of winter we’re celebrating this fabulous season with a deeeelicious and heart warming special…on an olive oil base we spread provolone, wood-roasted pumpkin, pine nuts and gorgonzola before cooking the pizza at somewhere between 400-500 degrees and then finishing it with fresh rocket. If you feel the need for protein then the saltiness of chicken matches well with the sweetness of pumpkin…yum yum yum!

On the dessert front we have our scrumptious homemade tiramisu which continues to be be ever popular…probably because it’s made with espresso, amaretto and the vital amore!

Special July 22-25

After last week’s sub zero temperatures this week is comparatively tropical…but that doesn’t mean we’re going to shy away from a special that’s designed to warm the mind, body and soul…

On a beautifully hand-stretched pizza base we spread a coat of fresh crushed garlic, provolone, apply some marinated zucchini, fresh ricotta and then finish with some hot salami (or you can have mild!). Deeelicious!

If you’re open to dessert afterwards then you won’t be able to resist our decadent delicious chocolate mud cake served with vanilla ice cream and strawberry. Perfect with a hot chocolate or espresso to finish a delicious dinner in front of the Bella Fresca woodfired oven.
