Hmmm this week’s special is deeeeelicious! Olive oil, provolone, marinated figs, walnuts, prosciutto and fresh rocket…especially delicious with a glass of something white!

As usual we have our tiramisu made with espresso, amaretto and amore or if you’re feeling like something a little more refreshing we’ve got yummy gelato in three different flavour of chocolate, lemon and blood red orange…mmm mmm!

B’day special Oct 14-17

Well a couple of milestones to herald this week…not only have we reached 300 Facebook likes but Bella Fresca Pizzeria this week turns 4 years old!

On 14 October 2011 we opened our doors and started our journey to bring the good folk of Castlemaine delicious woodfired pizzas and thanks to you all – our loyal customers – we’re still here four years later! Thanks everyone for your ongoing support – we’re having a ball!

But to more important things – this week’s special – on an olive oil base we’re adding provolone, homemade pork and fennel salsicce (sausage), thin slices of fresh apple and rocket! Deeeeeelicious!

Of course for the dessert lovers amongst us, there’s Jules’ homemade tiramisu prepared with espresso, amaretto and amore! Bellissimo! Otherwise we have our baci, tartufo or gelato in chocolate, lemon and blood orange…yum yum yum!

If you can think of a ‘cho-rizon’ as to why you shouldn’t try this week’s special then we want to hear it!

Special Sept 23-26

This little cold snap which has arrived in the past day or so has inspired this week’s special…garlic, provolone, green olives, fresh ricotta and salami – you can choose either hot or mild – if you can handle the hot then we recommend!

Homemade tiramisu is back this week…made with espresso, amaretto and amore it’s a sure winner!

This week’s special is a vegetarian…but obviously the protein lovers amongst us can make whatever additions they choose…

On a napoli base we add provolone, baby spinach, roasted capsicum, roasted eggplant and feta…if you need protein then salami (either hot or mild) might be just the ticket!

On the dessert front we have homemade tiramisu made with espresso, amaretto and of course amore!

That’s right folks, this week’s special is a chicken pizza…on a pesto base we feature provolone, chicken, pine nuts, fresh tomato and feta…delish!

Jules has gone all out and made two varieties of tiramisu this week – the traditional version with espresso and amaretto – and the chocolate version which is non-alcoholic but is of course made with amore!

Due to popular demand and given that we’re in the final weeks of winter we’re featuring our potato pizza special this week…on a napoli base, we apply provolone, red onion, wood roasted chat potatoes and a few sprigs of rosemary…so simple and yet so delicious!

If you’re partial to a dessert or sweet treat to finish then the tiramisu returns this week made with espresso, amaretto and just a dash of amore!

Special August 5-8

Prosciutto, walnuts, marinated figs and fresh rocket! Yep, that’s right folks – that’s this week’s yummy yummy pizza special!

We get a pizza dough ball that’s been proving for an extended time, hand-stretch it so that it retains air and lightness, then spread some extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle provolone, walnuts and figs bathed in sweet alcohol before cooking in the oven and then finishing with delicious ribbons of prosciutto and fresh rocket.

Tiramisu returns this week deliciously made with amaretto, espresso and just a dash of amore!

Special July 29-Aug 1

As we approach the final month of winter we’re celebrating this fabulous season with a deeeelicious and heart warming special…on an olive oil base we spread provolone, wood-roasted pumpkin, pine nuts and gorgonzola before cooking the pizza at somewhere between 400-500 degrees and then finishing it with fresh rocket. If you feel the need for protein then the saltiness of chicken matches well with the sweetness of pumpkin…yum yum yum!

On the dessert front we have our scrumptious homemade tiramisu which continues to be be ever popular…probably because it’s made with espresso, amaretto and the vital amore!

Special July 15-18

This cold weather brings about all sorts of cravings for simple and traditional pizza combinations and so this week we’re going to run with the ‘puttanesca’…on a napoli base we sprinkle provolone, fresh tomato, basil, chilli, white anchovies and kalamata olives.. full of flavour and the perfect pizza to warm your soul! It’s a good one with salami, if you feel the need for protein… On the dessert menu we’ve returned the homemade tiramisu made with amaretto, espresso and the requisite dash of amore!
