With the official start to winter upon us we’re in a mind to feature our selection of hearty winter comfort specials! This week’s special is on a garlic base with provolone, grilled zucchini, fresh ricotta and salami – if you’re the spicy type then a dash of chilli will work really well! Vegetarians can swap the salami for mushrooms and this will still be delicious!

On the dessert front we’ve got Jules’ homemade tiramisu, dessert pizzas with nutella and strawberry/banana, gelato as well as baci and tartuo. All delicious! 😋

Special 23-26 May

We’ve had a last minute change to this week’s special – although we planned to feature as asparagus special, we’ve decided the supply isn’t up to our standard – so we’re going with our beetroot special! Extra virgin olive oil, provolone, baby beets, feta, walnuts and fresh rocket!

Homemade tiramisu is one of our dessert options this week along with our dessert pizzas, gelato and baci or tartufo.

Ciao pizza lovers! It’s fair to say that the cooler weather has well and truly arrived and isn’t is great knowing that you have our cosy woodfired pizzeria in which to sit, relax and eat in or order a takeaway from?!

This week’s special is on a napoli base with provolone, roasted red capsicum, feta, salami and jalapeños! Those seeking an extra bit of spice can also add chilli and the vegetarians can swap the salami for mushrooms and this is still a delicious pizza!

Dessert lovers will be happy to learn that we have our homemade tiramisu and decadent dessert pizzas as well as our chilled selection of gelato, baci and tartufo!

Special 9-12 May

Buonasera pizza lovers! This week we can expect some cool weather to visit and so we’ve decided to feature a special that’s hearty and bound to keep you warm and comforted! On a napoli base there’ll be some provolone, red onion, wood roasted potatoes and rosemary. Seriously delicious!

For those with a sweet tooth we’ll have our homemade tiramisu, delicious dessert pizzas as well as gelato, baci and tartufo!

Napoli base, red onion, wood-roasted chats and rosemary…mmm delicious!

Special 2-5 May

Dear pizza lovers…this week’s pizza special is for our pescatarian friends and inspired by flavours of the puttanesca…napoli base with provolone, white anchovies, capers, fresh tomato, basil, kalamata olives and if you can handle it, chilli is a great addition! Vegetarians can swap the white anchovies for mushrooms and this pizza works fine.

On the dessert front we have homemade tiramisu, baci, tartufi e gelato in flavours of chocolate, lemon and blood orange. Otherwise there’s also our dessert pizzas – nutella with strawberry and banana or a calzone…served with vanilla ice-cream they are the ultimate indulgence.

Special 26-28 April

Buonasera pizza lovers! This week’s pizza special is ‘the broccoli pizza’…on a garlic base, provolone, broccoli (marinated in garlic and black pepper) with tellegio and pine-nuts. Perfect for vegetarians the way it is but for those seeking protein it’s also great with salami or chicken.

Please know that we will not be open on Wednesday 25 April due to the Anzac Day public holiday. We return to usual trading hours on Thursday.

Special 4-7 April

What a terrific run of autumn weather we’ve had – we hope everyone enjoyed their Easter break! This week’s special is a chicken pizza – on a pesto base with provolone, free range chicken (all our chicken is free range!), fresh tomato, feta and pine nuts.

This week’s special is a delicious vegetarian combination of napoli, provolone, baby spinach, roasted eggplant, roasted red capsicum and feta. It’s also great with salami and chilli if you need some additional protein!
 
A delicious batch of homemade tiramisu is currently settling – those who love a light dessert with espresso, amaretto and amore will be delighted! Otherwise we have our gelato, baci, tartufo and dessert pizzas!

The weekly special 28 February – 3 March!

Buonasera pizza lovers! Yes, we are back, refreshed and ready to once again provide Castlemaine’s most delicious woodfired pizza! As Victor might say ‘Tanks God’. Thanks to all those who sent happy wishes and lovely messages during our break and apologies for the slow replies… we took a break from social media too!

This week’s special is on a napoli base with provolone, baby spinach, green olives, feta and salami! This is one of those pizzas that’s extra delicious with a hint of chilli which is an optional extra. Vegetarians can simply skip the salami and this is still a great pizza!

Homemade tiramisu returns to the menu this week with Jules having made a fresh batch with espresso, amaretto and amore!

Dear pizza lovers, this week’s pizza special is for our vegetarian amici who are bound to love a garlic base with provolone, mushrooms, gorgonzola or feta and fresh rocket! Delicious.😋 The protein eaters will enjoy this one with a ribbon or two of prosciutto!
 
With the heat having well and truly arrived in the past couple of weeks we’re off on our annual break this week so will be ONLY BE TRADING Wednesday and Thursday and will be closed from Australia Day throughout February.
 
We will reopen on Wednesday 28 February 2018 from 5pm!
